Badger foraging
The badger belongs to the family of mustelids, predators, but is in fact omnivorous by nature. He eats throughout the year, both animal and vegetable foods. He is a bad hunter and takes only what is directly in front of his nose. His striking head patterning and noisy way of foraging ensure that everything alert or agile escapes. Badgers eat primarily earthworms. Sometimes up to 250 worms in one evening.
