Badger (Meles meles) grooming
Badgers do get fleas and ticks. They scratch themselves like dogs, with the difference that badgers can also use their front paws. Quite frequently we see that a badger will sit down for a good belly scratch as soon as he gets out of its sett. This particular badger however, is lying flat on his back for a mixture of grooming and relaxation time.
